Planting

Babylon Design plants small town gardens, new build estates, country gardens and large estates. Our schemes always seek to accept and exploit the conditions on site and create a scheme that enhances the house and its surroundings.

The following sections show some examples of the types of planting undertaken by Babylon Design over the last few years. Babylon Design undertakes all types of planting schemes including large and specimen tree planting, the supply and planting of formal or countryside hedges, mass bulb planting and flower beds, both formal and naturalistic.

Babylon Design also undertakes planting schemes that have been already designed offering the complete planting service. This includes the supply of the plants, preparation, setting out, and the planting and aftercare. By using our own nursery stock and those of carefully chosen suppliers, we are able to supply plants at trade prices as part of our service. Through our nursery contacts we can source almost anything from 10 metre Cedar trees to aquatic plants for new ponds and lakes.

Planting is undertaken throughout the year as only certain aspects such as bare-root and root-balled tree and hedging planting, bulb planting and tender schemes are confined these days to certain months. Using container grown stock allows most plants to be successfully established at any time of the year.
